About Us

Kirsten and I are originally from the Midwest. At the age of 5, I made a decision to follow Jesus Christ after hearing the message of the cross at Vacation Bible School. Kirsten made that same decision at a youth event.

We were married in June 1991 and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where we lived for 8 years. While in Indianapolis, we served in several ministries of Lakeview Christian Center.

In September 1998, God issued a call to us to serve as missionaries. In August 1999 we moved to Pensacola, Florida to attend the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry (BRSM). While attending BRSM, we went on short-term mission trips to Cameroon, Africa, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France. During these trips we saw God move mightily resulting in many changed lives! In May 2001, we graduated from BRSM.

Kirsten and I continued our studies through Global University/Berean School of the Bible to obtain ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God. We also received two additional blessings to our family: Rebecca was born on July 23, 2003, and our second daughter, Jeanne, was born on March 7, 2005.

In March 2005 we obtained approval to help plant an international church in the Netherlands. After raising our support, we moved to Hilversum, a town about 12 miles southeast of Amsterdam. While in Hilversum we were amazed as more and more people came to the new church plant. By the end of our 2-year term, the church had nearly 300 people from over 20 different nations worshiping together each week.  Back in the U.S. we had another addition to our family: Jonathan was born on January 31, 2009.

Now, finally, we have an open door in Lyon, France, and we are raising our support. We want to leave as soon as possible, as the need in Lyon, France is so great. Only 1 person in 200 is an evangelical believer, and we want to reach the people of this largely unreached city. In this metropolis of 1.7 million people, there is only one Assembly of God church, and only a few Bible-believing churches. Clearly, God has called us to France because of the enormous need for workers in this harvest field!
